After months of perfecting our formulation and texture, we developed a micro-grinding process that transforms whole roasted coffee beans into a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth bar. More than a new format, Mokable is defining an entirely new category of coffee. We’re taking coffee beyond the cup and transforming how the world experiences it.
It’s Coffee You Can Eat.
We are creating a new category. It’s edible coffee. Not brewed coffee, not chocolate. Back in 2023, Mokable began as a project with one goal: to create a pure expression of coffee without wasting a single grind.
Through our research and decades of experience in the coffee industry, we discovered that 70% of the physical bean is thrown away when we brew coffee, including oils, antioxidants, aroma and most importantly – flavour. We have created an edible form of coffee that allows you to experience coffee at its purest form but in a decadent way.

Mottainai もったいない is a Japanese expression rooted in respect for what we have. It reminds us that something of value should be appreciated and used fully, not wasted. Passed down through generations, this philosophy became a guiding principle behind Mokable.
We saw that the coffee bean had more to offer beyond what reaches the cup. We believe it deserves to be experienced and appreciated more fully. That belief became Mokable: a new way to honour the whole bean, celebrate its character and educate the world about the beauty of coffee beyond the cup.
Our goal is to celebrate and showcase coffee-growing regions from around the world. Beginning with Ethiopia, Brazil and Colombia Decaf, we invite people to discover the distinct character and flavour story of each origin. The world of coffee is vast, and we are only beginning to reveal it.
